Fair Housing Advocates File Federal Lawsuit to Stop HUD's Most Recent Attack on Civil Rights
-The National Fair Housing Alliance, BLDS, LLC, and Fair Housing Advocates of Northern California held a media conference call Thursday, October 22 at 11:00 am ET to discuss their newly filed federal lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) “disparate impact” rule, which will make it exceedingly harder for victims of discrimination to fight against systemic racism and discriminatory policies put in place by housing providers, financial institutions, and insurance companies that deprive people of the services and opportunities they need.
